I needed a place to stay for an extended 4 month work contract, and he very kindly accepted me as a tenant and accommodated my night shift hours! He also was kind enough to include me thoughtfully in a few celebrations and share a few meals with me during my time there. Both sons are charming, fun young men with great conversation skills.
As far as the room; it is separate from the house by only a few feet and so is private and quiet. The house itself is set back from the road, and the neighbors are kind, watchful people who have each other's backs. I felt very safe there. Jaime kindly placed a fridge and microwave in the room, making it easy to manage meals without needing to interfere with the family's use of the kitchen. The room is clean, warm and private, with more than adequate in space and storage: This was one of my better long term stays through Airbnb and I'm so happy to have made new friends through it!

The ranch is next to the old Mission and close to Pinnacles National Park. I have stayed here many times before and it is always what I expected. Patty is meticulous in regards to how she makes this place ready for her clients.

We would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend where they can disconnect and enjoy the peacefulness of nature.
We really enjoyed our stay! It's a lovely, quiet, gorgeous place with horses and cats and super comfortable accommodations. There are lots of windows to open for the cool night air to come through. There is a dog named Ski, who is an absolute sweetheart and got along very well with our dog.

The ranch is located about 10 min away from Salinas and about 45 min from Carmel. The roads are nice and it's an easy drive. Wifi was good too. Would definitely stay here again.

Sonya and Steve were very kind, the trailer is bigger than you can imagine from the pictures and have a nice rustic touch! Sonya and Steve are wonderful hosts. They were so kind and accommodating to us. We loved getting to see a slice of their Ranch life. We throughly enjoyed meeting their animals, especially the 3- month old foal, Sadie. Such a wonderful place near the hills and a good place to get away from the city.

Trailer offers a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. What it's missing in the listing is how beautiful this place is. Steve and Sonya showed us around their ranch. We came in the right time and had the chance to meet the horses from the young foal and the oldest 33 year-old horse, day-old calves nursing from their moms! We hope to come back soon! Marcia had stocked the place with homey goodies which was a welcome sight when we arrived at the place near dark in a rainstorm. The same rainstorm had knocked the power out a bit before our arrival, but Chris texted us to let us know ahead of time and had candles on hand when we arrived. The power came back on but we rested easy knowing we'd be covered in case we lost it again!
Chris had also built a fire in the wood stove and met us at the cabin to show us its charming quirks and answer our questions.
All of this made it easy to feel like we were at home. Be careful of old wiring in this lovely cabin though. We blew a fuse running the microwave so I'd recommend using it sparingly and leaving your blow dryer at home!
The only real difficulty about our stay was getting in touch with Marcia and Chris to let them know that it happened. Cell reception is spotty by their place and sparse in the general area especially with Verizon but as soon as they got our messages they came over and helped us get it sorted out.
The area is beautiful and removed though still only 45ish minutes from stunning Point Lobos State Parkthe roadhouse up the street serves a mean brunch with ample local hospitality, and the cabin itself is sweet, comfortable and charming. Our stay at the cabin was perfect! My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted a special little getaway.
Marcia greeted us and gave us a tour of the space. The property is huge! The cabin had everything we needed including a bottle of wine: We kept the fire going pretty much whenever we were in the cabin and it kept the living room nice and toasty. Primitive provided extra linen and bedding for me if I needed it. There is also a TV in the room, but I did not use it. Very easy to communicate with. We had a late arrival and he was able to accommodate all ours needs. The location is pretty remote and our highlight was meeting the wildlife as we ate breakfast each morning.
We saw deer several times and even a passing wild bobcat! The space was pretty big for just the two of us and had everything we needed. My husband and I spent Memorial Day weekend at the tiny house cabin and had a perfect time! We used it as a launching pad to go hiking in Pinnacles National Park west entrance on one day and kayaking at Elkhorn Slough on the other.
I wish we'd had one more day to just relax and lie in the hammock. It was so peaceful and beautiful, exactly what we were hoping for. We loved not being reachable by phone. Communication with Camas was excellent and the tiny house had everything we needed.

I stayed at this amazing place for 2 nights with my brother, his wife and their 9 year old. We loved that we could switchoff all the lights and sat on the porch to see the stars! My brother even caught 2 shooting stars! My niece and I enjoyed the swing so much. On our in and out, we saw some deers, and 2 condors. Place is very cute, it could get hot at night, we totally forgot there was an AC.

Great location facing the river. And really fantastic hosts. It is a cabin like setting, so bring what you'll need for a few days we needed more wine. There was a mini mart down the street where we picked some up. On the way one of our tire sensors went off, the owner was very nice and let us pump it up before we headed back to town Carmel Valley. They provided everything you could need or forget at the cabin including q-tips, which I alway seem to forget.

We enjoyed hanging out by the fire with them. Our two labs loved swimming at the water hole and sniffing all the wildlife. We got a little worried about the huge stands of poison oak we were passing on the drive therebut it was very well maintained on the property and we didn't have any issues with it. We had so much fun staying at David's ranch with some friends over the Thanksgiving weekend. Great proximity to Pinnacles and an all-around beautiful spot to spend a couple of days. This experience exceeded our expectations. As busy parents in the Bay Area, we needed a place to get away for the weekend with our daughter and just chill out, go for a hike, and read.
This was exactly what we needed. David's place was super calm, with a nice BBQ, peaceful scenery, and plenty of space to stretch out it's bigger than it looks!
He was also super responsive and gave us the appropriate heads up about getting gas, groceries, given that it's a bit of a drive from the nearest town. Very remote and quiet place.
